Sepia White – Typewriter 80 Cotton

A fabric inspired by the sea and summertime by Japanese designer Mannine!

Featuring a squid character named Suruume along with other sealife. The star fish, sea urchins and more all pop against the white background.

This Japanese specialty cotton has a crisp hand yet is beautifully light and airy. It’d be perfect to sew into a shirt or a summer dress.

A part of the popular ‘Creatures’ series this design is showcases Mannine’s signature quirky characters and incredible detail.

With the concept of wanting people to have fun with wearing her prints, textile designer Manri Kishimoto, debuted the playful spirited Mannine brand in 2014/15 AW. She aims to design fabric that people will feel good wearing, so much so that they will want to take them on their holidays and adventures.

Mannine designs are all hand drawn by Manri Kishimoto and digitalised prior to printing.
