The Asteri sewing pattern includes two options: an elegant sleeveless midi dress and a stylish vest top.
Both variations are unlined and feature a princess cut, a V-neck, and front buttoning.
The dress includes discreet in-seam side pockets, while the vest features distinctive patch pockets on the hips.
Waist pleats add volume to the dress’s pencil skirt, and a split back hem ensures ease of movement.
The vest includes a buckled tab at the back waist for an adjustable fit.

Fabric Recommendations:
For either variation, choose a medium-weight non-stretch fabric that’s either rigid or slightly drapey. A variety of linen and cotton fabrics work well with these garments.

Dress: 170 – 240 cm (1 7/8 – 2 5/8 yd)
Vest: 110 – 175 cm (1 1/4 – 1 7/8 yd)
115 cm / 45″ wide fabric:

Vest: 155 – 210 cm (1 3/4 – 2 1/4 yd)
Note: For patterned or napped fabrics, the fabric requirement may be higher.
