Named – Salla Sweater Dress

Salla is a wonderfully simple midi-length knit dress sewing pattern with a straight cut, raglan sleeves, and a chunky turtleneck.
The relaxed, wrist-length sleeves taper towards the wrist, and the waist is accentuated with a wide belt, which is fastened in place with belt loops.

Notions:
Fusible knit interfacing, 205 cm (2¼ yd)*
* Use the interfacing if your fabric is very stretchy, light, and drapey. With relatively stable fabrics, omit the interfacing.
Fabric Recommendations:
Choose a medium weight knit fabric with approximately 50% of stretch. Make sure the fabric you use is a soft, reasonably drapey and loose knit, for example a soft cotton cable knit. Be sure to also choose a knit interfacing.
Fabric Requirements:
150 cm / 60″ wide fabric:
235 – 370 cm (2 5/8 – 4 yd)
115 cm / 45″ wide fabric:
340 – 425 cm (3 3/4 – 4 5/8 yd)
Note: For patterned or napped fabrics, the fabric requirement may be higher.
