There is just one of these unique embroidered brooches available. Made by Japanese indie designer, Mannine, with one of her characters from her Constellation Collection: Leo. The detail is incredible, from the texture of Leo’s mane to the fashionable bow tie!
The brooch is very light weight and backed with felt
It’d be a great way to add some character to bags, hats, the collar of jackets and coats, and just about any outfit!
With the concept of wanting people to have fun with wearing her prints, textile designer Manri Kishimoto, debuted the playful spirited Mannine brand in 2014/15 AW. She aims to design fabric and clothing that people will feel good in, so much so that they will want to take them on their holidays and adventures.

‘Balloon Dogulee’ in Navy is a light to mid weight cotton print by Japanese fabric design house Mannine.
It features four main charcters from the Space Journey with Dogulee story. Namely Dogulee, Pegon and two of the Doguo brothers. They float over a blue background in solo hot air balloons.
This charming and unique print draws you in instantly yet is so versatile. It is extra wide at 130cm and is perfect for making clothes (skirts, tops, shirtwear, children’s wear), accessories, and soft furnishings.
